 Getting to Britannia at Terwilliger Vista Bed and Breakfast is easy, having to leave though can be difficult.
Driving from the Airport:
- Interstate 205, also known as "Veterans Memorial Highway", is the main artery to and from the airport. When exiting the airport, follow signs to 205 S toward "Portland/Salem".
- Get on 205 S and stay on it for 3.2 miles until you come to exit 21B. Take exit 21B onto I-84 W towards Portland.
- Stay on I-84 W for 5.4 miles and exit onto I-5 S toward "Beaverton / Salem".
- After 4.5 miles on I-5 S, take exit 297 toward "Terwilliger Boulevard". Bear right on the off-ramp to get onto Barbur Blvd.
- At the very first traffic light, turn left onto Terwilliger Blvd.
- Once on Terwilliger Boulevard, you will be going uphill. After about 1 mile, you will be at the first stop light. This is Capital Highway. Go straight.
- Continue up the hill and in less than half a mile, you will be at the top. At this point, the Chart House Restaurant will be on your right and Westwood Drive will be on your immediate left. Make an acute left onto Westwood Drive and we're the second house on the right.
Driving southbound on I-5
- Traveling south on I-5, take exit 297 toward "Terwilliger Boulevard". Bear right on the off-ramp to get onto Barbur Blvd.
- At the very first traffic light, turn left onto Terwilliger Blvd.
- Once on Terwilliger Boulevard, you will be going uphill. After about 1 mile, you will be at the first stop light. This is Capital Highway. Go straight.

Driving northbound on I-5
- Traveling north on I-5, take exit 297 toward "Terwilliger Boulevard".
- At the end of the off-ramp, you will come to a traffic light. Turn left onto Terwilliger Blvd.
- Continue on Terwilliger Boulevard and at the next light, travel straight to cross over Barbur Blvd.
- After you cross over Barbur Blvd, you will be going uphill. After about 1 mile, you will be at another traffic light. This is Capital Highway. Go straight over this road as well.
- Continue up the hill and in less than half a mile, you will be at the top. At this point, the Chart House Restaurant will be on your right and Westwood Drive will be on your immediate left. Make an acute left onto Westwood Drive and we're the second house on the right.
Public Transportation
Portland has a public transportation system second to none. Whether you're coming through by plane or train, it's not at all difficult to arrive at our front door without the use of a rental car or taxi cab.
